So we have a retrograde taking place September 6th/7th depending on your time zone and I want to discuss the dos and don'ts of retrogrades as some people don't know the effects retrogrades causes. So here are the do's and don'ts for the retrogrades.
My daughter starts preschool on September 8th! Efffff!!!!!
She would have started last week, but because of our lovely fires here in Los Angeles, which add to our pre-existing lovely air quality, I held off on having her start when it was so dangerous, disgustingly smokey, and hot.
I guess there's no way around this one...but does this change things?
I homeschooled her from age 2 to age 3...so going to preschool a couple times a week for socialization (learning to function within a larger group of peers, adapting to a new environment with routines, structure, etc., introducing her to the community in which she lives and helping her take responsibility for her place in it, as well as to enjoy being a part of it...) is just part of the educational continuum. And I'm not going to stop homeschooling her...attending preschool is more of a "supplement" to what we are already doing at home.
If seen as an educational restructuring...or as a kind of "upgrade" to learning..will we be spared the wrath of the Retrograde?
No it would have been best she started school when she was going too at first as you aren't suppose to start anything new during retrogrades. Is it possible for you to wait till October to have her start since you're her primary educator anyway?
Yes, from an educational standpoint. No, from a financial standpoint. The admission fees, as well as first month's tuition, are due and they don't refund you if you don't go.
Well if you have already committed yourself before the retrograde and all she has to do is show up, I don't think it'll be a problem. But if you still had to enroll her and all that, I think that would be the no no.
No... You already started this "project" before the retrograde. And you're not jumping into a commitment. You're doing research! Retrogrades are a perfect time to research in preparation for a decision.
If you do make a date, just be prepared for it to suffer last minute cancellations, lateness or surprising twists & turns. Leave early, have leeway. If he's late, don't mind.
I almost slipped up and had 'the talk' but I'm glad I didn't as I forgot that was one of the don'ts so I'm just going with the flow and will wait till next month to verbalize anything but by then its going to be already evident that we are serious so we probably won't even need to have 'the talk' at all. But yea just hold off on all serious communications until October. You'll more than likely get a much better response then.
I don't think its letting the stars rule out your fate but more so being able to make fate work in your favor which is why I made this thread. I enjoy helping others.
