I am appalled that there aren't any replies about this combo. This team is the dynamic duo. My taurus friends and I are unstoppable together. Between Virgo and Taurus, there is such a sense of warmth, loyalty, understanding, and commitment. Both signs protect one another fiercely. Taurus physically, Virgo cerebrally. If you ever try to come in between this pair...beware!!! Your attempt will most likely fail, and in the end you'll regret even trying.

I have heard this about Taurus and Virgo but I don't know if it's true in all cases. I am a virgo and have had a few encounters with Taurus and it didn't go very far. My first Taurus was a sexy good gem who was very intense at first and a little possessive (calling all day, wanting to know where I was, what time I would be home,etc.) then as soon as I started to get relaxed he went cold. Said he needed time to think, etc. so I gave it to him. He came back around but then he started with the hot/cold stuff and I told him it wasn't going to work.
Another taurus, I met once but he IMs me all the time. He doesn't call even though he has my #. The one time we met he just sat there like he was afraid to move and barely said a word. He admits to just wanting a FB; nothing that even remotely resembles a real involvement. I am more than a piece of a-- so it is unlikely me and this guy will ever get together either.
So, is there anyone on this site that can explain the taurus weirdness? I like the sensual aspects and how nice they are but this other weird stuff totally overshadows the good things about them.

Man, if you ever figure that out, let me know :) I'm a Scorpio, Virgo rising, and Taurus guys drive me crazy (in a good way). I've had exactly the same hot-and-cold problem as you though. Sorry I don't have any real advice, just sympathy!

Thanks. At least we can commiserate together in our confusion. Seriously though, it helps to know that this hot/cold business seems to be a Taurus trait.

?? I guess I should have been more clear in my response. I was talking about my little sister, by best female friend, and my best male friend.
Romantically, I've never had a successful relationship with a Taurus.

I knew it! As a Virgo with Capricorn Moon I should stick with myself and be perpetually turned off by my own coldness ;)
Yes, Taureans are a bit different, ruled by pleasure-loving Venus. Virgos and Capricorns are both known for pretty BIG trust issues. Need a lot of time to warm up, but once committed, they take it seriously. Oh, and they usually don't cuddle other people for emotional comfort when things go awry, something that possessive Taurus can appreciate, I believe.
Funny, I was thinking that Aquarians are the "off" ones :)

im a taurus female and ive noticed the males are more like this then the females they are kind of weird..usually passive so you have to take the initative if you want anything to happen and they usually like the no strings attached at first because once we get attached, we are really attached!!! and its hard to let go..they may say thats all they want but its just a test, if you hang out with them alot and they think your good in bed or a good cook once they are use to you, they wont want you to leave, plus they get jealous so if they are sleeping with you and start to like you and hear that someone else is intrested they will be quick to stake there claim or move things to the next level..its tricky with a taurus you want to be aggressive but not too aggressive..guess you have to be hot and cold as well.

I am a Taurus, every Virgo that i meet; man or woman interests me so much! We seem to be on the same planet! There is a silent bond connection that i can explain. This relationship is so understanding you just want to be with them all the time! Ive never met any sign that made me laugh so much! As soon as i meet them i feel that i have known them previously in a different life, its weird but so amazing! I cant explain how much this combination ROCKS! There's so much LOVE! Virgo women are so sweet gentle and funny and they have this presence about them that just light up the room. Virgo men are similar, every virgo man ive met are naturally quiet, there is something untouchable about them, this only makes them more mysterious and sexier! =p There is so much that this combination offers. Just like 'SuchAVirgo' said it - - - Between Virgo and Taurus, there is such a sense of warmth, loyalty, understanding, and commitment =D

I'm a Taurus, and one of my very best male friends is a Virgo Sun (Taurus moon). I seem to be one of the only people who can tolerate him for extended periods of time. We very rarely ever fight, and when we do disagree, we seem to always be able to do so constructively; we don't hold things against one another or get hung up on petty differences. Interestingly enough, our relationship is completely platonic and will more than likely always stay that way. He's like a brother to me! I knew one other Virgo dude, and it was similar with him (non-romantic).

my first boyfriend ever was a virgo

i dunno how it even happened, we used to never talk and then the teacher changed seats and i was placed infront of him. then we eventually moulded into one group his guys and my girls. he used to look at me and i noticed but i thought nothing of it. i never thought it woul dhappen
then, it was camp (this seems so childisH) then he was trying to hold my hand and hugged me all the time, he was perfect. i was scared.. i guess cos of my cancer venus and scorpio rising. i backed off n tried to avoid him as much as possible.
then he grabbed me after camp n said "i know this isn't nothing. so stop running from a good thing" HAHAHA it was funny and corny to me at the time cos i was so young but now that i think bout it WAOHA =O anyways, i didn't get to see him much over the holidays so i broke up with him
i saw him again the nxt year and i fell over again haha. he was so hurt by me and for 4 months not a word came outta his mouth to him not even a glance in my direction, then one day after stopping tryin to talk to him at school he said come here and we worked it out. i never admitted gettin scared i just said that i didn't see him so i got confused if it was going to work.
then a week and a half later, i broke up with him again sayin the holidays were comign up and i didn't know n he said but you knew holidays were coming up way before u got back with me, what is the real reeason?
i just said, i dunno that is all i ahve to say.
after 2 months, in comes the virgo again. admittin he still liked me even though he was with my friend, i said it wasn't goin to happen cos i wasn't over pisces. so he broke up with his gf. 2 months later, there he is again, fessin his emotions to me. "i dunno how it happened to me, i thought i had u all out of my system but i don't think u ever will be" this is year 9.
